On saturday 26 February 2005 Quarraluna hosted "Revisioning the Drylands". An exposition of new approaches to dealing with the increasing salinity of soils in the Western Australian wheatbelt among other things. I have to admit I wasn't quick enough to get there for the opening to a sizable crowd of 180, still there was a very talkative rump of visitors left still enthusing about what they had seen; also winding up for the coming evening of entertainment. I hope that these photos can give you a sense of the atmosphere of the day. The links for the full size images won't work on this web edition of the photos (need to save space). For more of an explaination of technologies presented please return to Revisioning The Drylands.
